i was waiting the whole video for someone to say ssbm and eventually its just randomly on the list. no one put it on there, and of course the dude whose at a FG event, who said he doesnt even play fighting games like that would put mk higher and melee lower. mk takes way less skill than melee would for someone like him, yet somehow is unable to have fun with smash bros over mk even tho smash bros is the perfect easy to pick up hard to master game... putting it below mk is crazy. ive never seen a mk game last as long in the mainstream like melee did. and i havent seen the level of dedication and skill it takes to play melee mimicked in mk. mk just such a cookie cutter boring fg especially when put beside a complex and expressive fighter like melee or even third strike

game knowledge is so underrated. too many people are needlessly complaining about EVERY SINGLE FUCKING CHARACTER, in Tekken 8 rn. if half of these people spent as much time studying other characters, as they do bitching about Feng, or Jin, or whatever, they’d likely find a new appreciation for both the game as a whole, but also those characters that they once complained about. turns out, every character in the game has fun aspects, and cheese, and character specific counter-play, etc, and through learning their move-sets, you’ll naturally spot the holes, and flaws in the characters design

If you’re jumping against a Guile, you deserve to get anti-aired. And while zoning is pretty scummy, it’s the Guile player’s fault for falling for it in a mirror match. There’s no accountability anymore in fighting games, it’s frightening.

Ryu has basically nothing to respond with to scissor kick. Our jab is too short to hit you most of the time, we're too far away to grab, and anything else is too slow. The only relatively consistent way I've been able to do is OD shoryu. So for ryu, he can't take his turn because there is no turn to take lol

Whoever plays modern controls doesn't have the right to say anything. That shouldn't even be allowed in ranked matches. Got that conclusion once I realiazed modern controls can do stuff that is impossible for classic, like Zangief lvl 3, you can't do that just standing on the ground or outside of a combo, but if it is modern, no problem, he presses one button and the unblockable move comes out. With that said, I don't understand why these people take time to just type all that BS in the chat, I mean, just yell at you own screen and move on to the next match or whatever.

I've played this guy before. Definitely a cheater. His DI's came out at the same time EVERY SINGLE TIME!! People in battle hub were calling him the other day. Unfortunately, this is why I won't play against PC players anymore. If they're really good, I have to question if they're cheating.

I know that people get a little uppity about strong characters on release. But man, I really do enjoy actually seeing DLC characters be strong. It lets a community get to have their high of a new character, and possibly get to shake up the meta. Which is something all games need to stay enjoyable for viewers and players alike. Releasing a character who just doesn't feel good to play for one reason or another is way worse than someone who's a little over-tuned, imo.
